Responsibilities:

Implementing Treatment Plans:
RBTs will work under the direction of a BCBA to implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans.

Data Collection:
You will systematically collect and record data on client behaviors and progress to inform treatment decisions.

Skill Acquisition and Behavior Reduction:
You will use applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors.

Collaboration:
You will work closely with BCBAs, families, and other professionals to ensure effective and consistent therapy delivery.

Communication:
You will communicate with clients, families, and other staff about client progress and treatment plans.

Client Interaction:
You will engage in direct interaction with clients, providing support and guidance in various settings.

Skills Required:

Effective Communication:
You need strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and staff.

Data Analysis:
You should be able to collect, organize, and interpret data related to client progress.

Patience and Empathy:
Working with individuals who may have challenging behaviors requires patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.

Adaptability:
You may need to adapt their approach based on individual client needs and the specific goals of the treatment plan.

Time Management:
You need to be organized and efficient in their time management to ensure effective implementation of treatment plans.

Working Environment:
You may work in various settings, including schools, clinics, homes, and community centers.
You will work with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or other behavioral challenges.

RBTs will work under the supervision of a BCBA, ensuring they receive ongoing training and support.

As an RBT you will be a key member of the ABA therapy team, playing a vital role in supporting individuals to develop skills, reduce challenging behaviors, and improve their overall quality of life.

Requisitos

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) you must have current and active RBT credentials. Position involves implementing behavior-analytic services under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). RBTs will work directly with individuals to promote skill acquisition, reduce maladaptive behaviors, and improve their quality of life. You will collect data, assist in treatment plan implementation, and collaborate with families and other professionals.
